Gooseberry State Park

As the gateway to the North Shore, Gooseberry Falls offers adventurists spectacular waterfalls, a river gorge, the Lake Superior shoreline, Civilian Conservation Corps log and stone structures, and north woods wildlife. Hike, ski or snowshoe through the trails and capture a view of the Fifth Falls through a forest of evergreens, aspen, and birch. Visitors can experience camping in modern campsites, picnicking, and relaxing along the Lake Superior shoreline or the Gooseberry River.
